02/03/2019 - Made A Journey Up To Cockermouth In Cumbria Last Weekend. This Gave Me A Chance To Get The First Pictures Of A Childhood Favourite, The Dipper. Had An Amazing Encounter With A Couple Of Red Squirrels, Leading To New Improved Pictures. Also New Pictures Of Nuthatch, Chaffinch, Jackdaw, Greater-Spotted Woodpecker, Mistle Thrush And Song Thrush. This February Has Been Fantastic For Seeing Birds Such As The Thrushes And Woodpeckers That Enjoy The Tops Of Tall Trees.

20/02/2019 - On One Of The Really Warm Days Last Week, I Photographed A Hoverfly On Mousehold Heath. I Didn't Pay Much Attention As I Thought It A Species I Already Have Better Photographs Of. However, On Closer Inspection, It Turns Out To Be A Species New To The Site, The Common Drone Fly. From Yesterday, A Pair Of Long-Tailed Tits On A Feeder.
