Open woodland by the Wensum - June 2017. The Norfolk & Norwich Naturalists’ Society guide to shieldbugs states, that it feeds on sorrel, dock,
knotgrass and blackberries. It is found in sunny open sites where it sunbathes on leaves... which is exactly what it was doing.
