Norfolk Hawker
Earlham Cemetery, Norwich - June 2021
The yellow triangular mark on the second abdominal segment which helps distinguish it from the Brown Hawker is clearly visible. Tinker's Lane, Strumpshaw - May 2018
Because of the angle at which these pictures were taken, the insect was high in a tree and partially obscured by branches, the yellow triangular mark is difficult to discern but it can be seen, particularly on the left-hand picture. What is very clear are the green eyes and clear wings which also help distinguish it from Brown Hawker. Cantley Sugar Beet Factory - July 2019
