Blood Bee genus Sphecodes
The name is purely a reference to their colour; they feed on pollen. A large family of cuckoo bees with 15 species present in Norfolk, all of which look similar. They parasitise the nests of Furrow Bees, amongst others. Thanks once again to Steve Smailes via iSpot for helping with the identification. This is possibly a Box-headed Blood Bee, Sphecodes monilicornis. Earlham Cemetery, Norwich - September 2020
