Both the above photographs were taken whilst crossing Anderson's Meadow, Norwich The one in the lower picture is resting on the wall of Dolphn Bridge. They are very common around the damper areas of Norwich at present but are so easy to miss because they are tiny, 33 - 36 mm in length and incredibly slender. Large Red Damselfly is a real misnomer, used to differentiate them from the Small Red Damselfly. - May 2018
